Counselling for Belmont residents
If you are looking for a counsellor near Belmont, my practice in Sutton is just a short distance away. I am Roberta, a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor, and I welcome clients from Belmont and the surrounding area. I offer face-to-face sessions at my Sutton practice, as well as online and telephone counselling for those who prefer to work from home.
Belmont is a quiet, residential area on the southern edge of the London Borough of Sutton, sitting between Sutton town centre and Banstead. It has a strong community feel and is well connected to Sutton by rail and road. Many of my clients come from Belmont and the surrounding streets, and I understand the particular character of life in this part of Surrey.
Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, or the challenges of neurodiversity or disability, I offer a warm, confidential space to explore what is troubling you — without judgement, without pressure, and at your own pace.

Getting to my Sutton practice from Belmont
Belmont station is on the Thameslink line, with direct services to Sutton taking just a few minutes. The journey by car is equally quick, and there is parking available near my practice. Belmont is also within comfortable walking or cycling distance of Sutton for those who prefer it.
For clients who prefer not to travel, I offer online video counselling and telephone counselling. Both are just as effective as face-to-face work for many people, and the convenience of being at home can itself make it easier to open up. If you are unsure which format suits you, we can discuss this during the initial consultation.
About Roberta — your Belmont area counsellor
I am a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor with over 20 years of experience in mental health, disability and neurodiversity settings. I trained in both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches, and I tailor my work to the individual — drawing on whichever approach is most useful for you.
I have worked with the RNIB, Sutton Mental Health Foundation and the Royal Marsden Hospital, and I bring the depth of experience from those roles to my private practice. I offer a initial consultation of around 20 minutes, with no obligation to continue. Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly.
